Legal / privacy / responsible use

Clear boundaries.
Responsible learning.

Effective 8 September 2026 · Version 1.0

This notice applies to this website and to any mobile or desktop app, downloadable resource, template, quiz, AI-assisted feature, update or related service published by Ahmed Hamed that links to or expressly adopts this notice (each a Product).

ImportantThis notice records boundaries and responsible-use expectations. It cannot guarantee immunity from liability, decide ownership by itself, replace workplace approval or legal advice, or remove rights and duties that Australian law says cannot be excluded.

01

Independent

A personal educational resource—not an official NESA, NSW Department of Education or school product.

02

Local-first privacy

The current study studio keeps student-entered notes and progress in the user’s browser, not in an Ahmed Hamed account.

03

Learning, not authorisation

No page, video or app replaces teacher supervision, school procedures, risk controls or machine-specific training.

Responsible-use notice

The full conditions.

Written for students, teachers and anyone using an Ahmed Hamed educational Product. Read this together with current official requirements.

01

Independence, employment and school approval

The Products are independently published personal educational resources. They are not created, operated, approved, sponsored or endorsed by NESA, the NSW Department of Education, any NSW Government agency, or any school. References to a syllabus, outcome, examination, department, school or focus area identify the educational context only.

This notice does not authorise an employee to use a Product at work or promote it through official channels. The author and every user remain responsible for applicable employment obligations, including declaring actual or perceived conflicts of interest, obtaining private or secondary employment approval where required, not using an official position for personal advantage, and not using departmental time, premises, systems, confidential information, branding or resources without permission. School or departmental use of non-department software may also require principal approval, cyber-security assessment and informed parent or carer consent.

02

Educational information, currency and exam results

Products provide general educational information and study support. They are not an official syllabus, assessment notice, marking guideline, professional opinion or guarantee of a particular examination, assessment, project or employment result. Content may contain errors or become outdated. Users must check current NESA material, their school assessment notice and their teacher’s instructions before acting.

Practice questions and explanations are learning prompts unless clearly labelled as official material. A year label may organise a revision set; it does not mean the question is copied from that year’s examination.

03

Safety, workshops and practical work

Nothing in a Product is a risk assessment, safe operating procedure, licence, competency assessment or instruction to operate a tool, machine, chemical, electrical system or production process. Students must follow their teacher, trained supervisor, manufacturer instructions, school procedures and current work health and safety controls. Do not attempt practical work without the required supervision, training, guards, personal protective equipment and site-specific controls.

Users are responsible for deciding whether a linked demonstration is suitable for their age, skill, equipment and setting. Stop and obtain qualified help whenever a process is unclear or unsafe.

04

Copyright, licences and acceptable reuse

NESA and NSW Department of Education names, logos and materials remain the property of their respective owners. NESA syllabus and examination material is protected by Crown copyright. Third-party videos, websites, trademarks, images and documents remain subject to their owners’ terms and licences. A link or citation does not transfer ownership or imply endorsement.

Unless a different licence is displayed, original Ahmed Hamed content may be used by students for personal study and printed or shared unmodified by teachers within their own classes for non-commercial education. It may not be sold, republished as another product, stripped of attribution or used to imply official approval without written permission. This permission never extends to third-party or NESA material. Users must acknowledge sources and obtain any permission their own project or publication requires.

05

External links, third-party services and AI features

External links are provided for convenience and can change without notice. Ahmed Hamed does not control third-party content, availability, accessibility, security, advertising, data practices or accuracy. Teachers should preview external resources before classroom use.

If a Product includes an AI-assisted feature, its output may be incomplete, inaccurate or unsuitable. Users must verify important information against authoritative sources and must not enter confidential school, staff or student information into an AI feature unless its use has been expressly approved.

06

Warranties, responsibility and limits of liability

Products are provided on an “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, no representation or warranty is made that a Product will be uninterrupted, error-free, complete, current, secure or fit for every user’s purpose. Users remain responsible for how they rely on, adapt, share or use a Product and for keeping their own copies of notes and files.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ahmed Hamed is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from access to, reliance on, inability to use or misuse of a Product or third-party resource. Nothing in this notice excludes, restricts or modifies a consumer guarantee, right, remedy or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under the Australian Consumer Law.

Website + app privacy

A no-data starting point—with honest limits.

This is the privacy statement for the current Industrial Technology Study Studio and the reusable no-data baseline for a future Product that links here.

Current website

No account is required. The site code does not intentionally collect or transmit names, typed notes, progress or quiz results to Ahmed Hamed. Those entries are saved in local browser storage, and PDF or print actions are initiated on the user’s device.

User control

Users can remove locally saved information by clearing this site’s browser storage. Shared devices may expose saved entries to another user, and clearing browser data or changing devices may permanently remove them. Do not enter confidential, identifying, health or school-record information.

Hosting + external services

A hosting provider, operating system, app store or linked service may process ordinary connection, security, download or diagnostic data under its own privacy terms. External links leave this Product. Ahmed Hamed does not receive student notes simply because a user follows a link.

Future apps

This no-data description applies to a future app only when the app and its store listing expressly say that no data is collected. Before release, every permission, SDK, analytics tool, crash reporter, cloud feature, advert, payment and AI service must be audited and accurately disclosed. A newer product-specific notice overrides this baseline where it says so.

Privacy requests

For a privacy question, correction or complaint, contact Ahmed Hamed using the support contact published with the relevant Product or in its official app-store listing. Do not include confidential student information in the request.

Before submitting an app: publish this page at https://ahmedhamed.com/legal.html#privacy, add the same link inside the app, and ensure the Apple App Privacy or Google Play Data safety answers exactly match the app’s real behaviour. A no-login design can still collect data through embedded services.

Review before rolloutThis notice is a risk-management foundation, not a substitute for written workplace approval or advice from an Australian solicitor. Review it whenever a Product adds accounts, data collection, payments, advertising, AI, cloud storage, collaboration, school deployment or commercial use. Subject to mandatory law, this notice is governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia; any unenforceable part is read down or severed without affecting the rest.
